Graduated from Avella High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh
Started his professional career as an iron worker and eventually started his own company, supplying erection cranes and other heavy construction equipment for many major projects throughout Western Pennsylvania
His business success enabled him to become one of the area’s leading sports philanthropists.
Named the University of Pittsburgh’s Golden Panther of the Year in 1983
1985 Washington County Italian Man of the Year and 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year for Construction
1999 Pittsburgh-Italian American Scholarship Fund Man of the Year, 2000 Italian-American Hall of Fame and 2000 Washington County Community Foundation Philanthropist of the Year
