  • Native of Turtle Creek, PA and graduate of Serra Catholic High School and West Liberty (WV) University
  • Head wrestling Coach at Pitt-Johnstown, Coach since 1976 (40 years)
  • Athletic Director at Pitt-Johnstown since 2008 (8 years)
  • Team captured 20 NCAA Regional Championships, 31 T0p-20 national finishes,20 Top-10 finishes, and 10 Top-five finishes and he was named Regional Coach of the Year 16 times
  • 1996 and1999 teams won the NCAA National Championship and ’he was 1995 and 1999 Coach of the Year
  • First in NCAA Division II to win 500 dual-meets (now 540) ranking third all-time and first among all active wrestling coaches at all levels of collegiate wrestling
  • Tutored 139 All-Americans,10 individual national champions, and 100 NWCA All-Academic Team members
  • Inducted into the Cambria County, West Liberty State College. Pitt-Johnstown, NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Halls of Fame, and the East Boros Chapter PA Sports Hall of Fame
