  • Three-sport standout at North Hills and four-year football starter at William & Mary College
  • Outstanding defensive back with the Buffalo Bills for eight seasons during their runner-up appearances in four consecutive Super Bowls under Coach Marv Levy
  • After suffering several concussions at W&M as well as with the Bills, he remained concussion-free after electing to wear his signature over-sized “Pro Cap” helmet for the remainder of his pro career
  • His 8-year NFL career included 99 games, 30 interceptions, three defensive touchdowns and four Super Bowl appearances
  • Upon retirement, he received his teaching certification from Canisius College
  • Successful high school football coach for 15 seasons
