For the past 58 years, the Robert “Tick” Cloherty – Western Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has honored and inducted over 735 incredible men and women who have made a lasting impact in Pennsylvania through extraordinary athletic achievement and contributions. Chuck Klausing

"Chuck" Klausing is a name synonymous with winning football games ... an all state scholastic lineman and one of football's most successful coaches a 48 year record of 310 wins, 112 losses, 10 ties from 1954-59 his Braddock High School team was undefeated in 64 consecutive games ... 10 undefeated seasons at Indiana University (PA) 47 wins, 10 losses ... Carnegie Mellon 75-15-2 .

6 Conference Championships .. .4 NCAA Division III Playoffs ... won the coveted Lambert Trophy as the best small college team in the East (1979) ... named ABC's College Coach-of-the-Year in 1979 and 1983 ... Conference Coach-of-the-Year an unprecedented 6 times ... coached Swiss, Austrian, and Italian National Teams ... directs annual summer football camps attended by 1,000 athletes ... very active in benefits for EC.A. and various Scholarship Funds (Tim Kerin, Moe Smith, Jimmy Starr).

Louis C. "Bimbo" Ceconi

Bimbo earned 11 letters in football, basketball and baseball at Donora High School. A QB, he led them to 3 WPIAL Titles, and also led the basketball team to State Runner Up Honors. At Pitt (1946-1950) Bimbo earned a record 9 letters in football, basketball, and baseball. He was a 4 year, 2-way starter in football at QB/DB and captained the 1949 squad while earning the Quarterback and Dapper Dan Club Awards. Bimbo was named to the All-Time Pitt Team 1900-1970. He concluded his football career as a coach in high school for 10 years and college for 16 years.

William "Bill" McPeak

Bill lettered three years in football at New Castle, Pa. High School. He played for four years at the University of Pittsburgh ,;- was team captain for two years, and was voted “The Most Valuable Team Player for two years. He played In the East-West Shrine Game. Bill played professional football for nine years for the Pittsburgh Steelers; was team captain for six years, and was a pro-bowl selection three times. He server as an assistant coach for the Detroit Lions and the Miami Dolphins; and served as head coach of the Washington Redskins.
