The Campbell Family Distinguished Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual who has achieved memorable success in athletic performance combined with exemplary leadership efforts in noteworthy charitable endeavors.

This award was established in 2015 to honor the memories of the four members of the Campbell family of Homestead, PA., all of whom have been inducted with prior classes into the Robert “Tick” Cloherty – Western Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Thanks to the generosity of the late William V. “Bill” Campbell, Jr., a $5000.00 endowment check has been awarded each year since 2016 to the annual Campbell winner’s charity of choice.
