The Campbell Family
Distinguished Achievement Award

The Campbell Family Distinguished Achievement Award  is presented annually by the Robert “Tick” Cloherty-Western Chapter to an individual who has achieved notable success in athletic performance, coaching, administration or sports journalism combined with exemplary leadership initiatives undertaken to promote noteworthy charitable endeavors.

This award was established in 2015 to honor the memories of the four members of the Campbell family of Homestead, PA., all of whom have been inducted with prior classes into the Robert “Tick” Cloherty – Western Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Thanks to the generosity of the late William V. “Bill” Campbell, Jr., a $5000.00 endowment check has been awarded since 2016 to the annual Campbell winner’s charity of choice.
