Armand Dellovade – Sports Personality

  • Graduated from Avella High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh
  • Started his professional career as an iron worker and eventually started his own company, supplying erection cranes and other heavy construction equipment for many major projects throughout Western Pennsylvania
  • His business success enabled him to become one of the area’s leading sports philanthropists.
  • Named the University of Pittsburgh’s Golden Panther of the Year in 1983
  • 1985 Washington County Italian Man of the Year and 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year for Construction
  • 1999 Pittsburgh-Italian American Scholarship Fund Man of the Year, 2000 Italian-American Hall of Fame and 2000 Washington County Community Foundation Philanthropist of the Year
