- His business success enabled him to become one of the area’s leading sports philanthropists.
- Named the University of Pittsburgh’s Golden Panther of the Year in 1983
- 1985 Washington County Italian Man of the Year and 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year for Construction
- 1999 Pittsburgh-Italian American Scholarship Fund Man of the Year, 2000 Italian-American Hall of Fame and 2000 Washington County Community Foundation Philanthropist of the Year
